This is one of the most recommended of the restaurants on the town walls in Alghero. It has a balance of Algherese cuisine (seafood) and traditional Sardinian cuisine (meat). The prices are fairly reasonable, a little bit more than places without a view but thats what happens in tourist towns. The wine list is also more expensive then most places. You see the same Sardinian (L'Arragosto, Rose de Alghero etc) wines on all menus so you know roughly what the mark up should be.
You will usually have to wait a while for a seat, but the staff are attentive and bring the people waiting a complementary glass of wine, which is a nice touch.
The food was fine without being amazing. We shared a baked pecorino and courgette starter which was fine. I had wild boar ragu pasta which was a little bland but pleasant enough. We shared grilled vegetables which were just bland. They don't have any veggie friendly dishes on the menu besides these, the starter and roasted potatoes, but that is pretty standard in Alghero. My partner ordered the grilled mixed fish. At €4 per 100g, it seemed reasonable enough, but they served an enormous portion, big enough for two people with a ridiculous amount of fish that came to €34. It was easily enough for two, but they don't say that on the menu.
The service is friendly and good (there is a 10% service charge). What you're really paying for is the view and the atmosphere of the town walls at night. You can get better value and better food if you go down some of the side streets in town. -

Worst customer service , in Sardinia . Rude , disrespectful waiters and manager . I would never go there again even if my meal was free . They don't even deserve 1 star .
